Our low fees are possible because we operate as a volunteer-driven, non-profit initiative with minimal overhead. We believe cost should never be a barrier to publishing quality research.

Why Our Fees Are So Low

We believe quality academic publishing should be accessible to all researchers

Mission-Driven

We exist to democratise academic publishing, not to maximise profits.

Efficient Operations

Lean operations and modern technology keep our overhead costs minimal.

Volunteer Reviewers

Our peer reviewers contribute their expertise as a service to the academic community.

Global Accessibility

Low fees ensure researchers worldwide can publish regardless of funding.

Fee Waivers Available

We believe financial constraints should never prevent quality research from being published. Fee waivers are available for:

  • Researchers from low-income countries (World Bank classification)
  • Early-career researchers without institutional funding
  • Authors facing genuine financial hardship
  • Collaborative projects with limited budgets

Request a fee waiver during the submission process. All waiver requests are reviewed confidentially by our editorial office.

Fees FAQ

Common questions about our publication fees

Publication fees are only charged after your manuscript has been accepted through peer review. You do not pay anything at submission. Payment is required before final publication.

We accept payment via credit/debit cards and online banking through our secure payment gateway. Malaysian authors can pay via FPX. International authors can use Visa, Mastercard, or bank transfer.

Yes, we can provide an invoice for institutional payment. Contact our editorial office after acceptance with your institution's billing details.

No. The publication fee covers everything: peer review, copyediting, DOI assignment, indexing, and perpetual open access hosting. There are no additional charges for colour figures, supplementary materials, or page limits.

We operate efficiently with lean infrastructure and volunteer peer reviewers. Unlike commercial publishers, our goal is accessibility rather than profit. We charge only what is necessary to cover operational costs.

We offer fee waivers for researchers facing genuine financial hardship. Request a waiver during submission - all requests are reviewed confidentially. Publication decisions are never influenced by ability to pay.

Fees are only charged after acceptance, so there is no refund situation. If you withdraw your manuscript before publication, no fee is charged.

Given our already minimal fees, we do not offer volume discounts. However, fee waivers remain available for eligible authors regardless of submission history.
